ERP Poem

William “ERP” Wordsworth

IT has not anything to show more robust:

Dull would he be of soul who not implement

A system so touching in its transparency.

This City now doth like a garment wear

The beauty of the morning: silent, bare,

The simplicity of thee: CRM, SCM, HRM

Dispatch, Inventory, Working Capital

Open unto the vendors, and the customers,
All “e” and secure in the smokeless air.

Never did the CEO more beautifully sleep

In his first splendour valley, rock, or hill;

Ne'er saw HR, never felt, a calm so deep!

The MRP glideth at their own sweet will:
Dear God! The very company seem alive;

And all that “Director heart” is working still!
